Luis Suarez has risked the wrath of Liverpool supporters by talking up Philippe Coutinho‘s proposed move to Barcelona. Coutinho, 25, handed in a transfer request at Anfield ahead of the 2017/18 campaign, in the hope of securing a move to the Nou Camp, but the Reds rejected several bids from the Catalan giants for the Brazil international. Suarez, Coutinho’s team-mate for two seasons on Merseyside, completed a £75million transfer to Barca back in 2014 and believes the playmaker would be a hit at the Nou Camp. Asked what Coutinho could bring to Barca, the Uruguay striker told Mundo Deportivo: ‘A lot. I know him as a person and as a player because I played with him, but everyone knows what Coutinho can contribute.
