Barcelona are top of La Liga and seven points clear of bitter rivals Real Madrid, who are languishing in sixth. But the Catalan club are already eyeing reinforcements in the January transfer market to maintain their dominance over Real. And according to Spanish website Don Balon, Barca want revenge on Real by beating them to the signing of Timo Werner. Barca are annoyed at missing out on two 21-year-old Spanish prospects in the shape of Ceballos and Asensio. Ceballos turned down Barca to join Real Madrid in a £14.5million deal this summer. He is starting to get his chance in Zinedine Zidane’s team and scored both goals in their 2-1 win over Alaves last weekend.
