Barcelona coach Quique Setien gave little away about Lionel Messi’s future on Saturday in his pre-match press conference ahead of the team’s La Liga match with Villarreal.

The Barcelona captain is feeling frustrated at the club and is ready to leave when his contract expires at the end of next season, according to Manu Carreno at Cadena SER.

Setien was asked about the report and offered his thoughts on the Argentina international and his future at the Camp Nou.

“I’m not going to speculate because I haven’t heard Messi talking about this news. He hasn’t said anything. I don’t want to speculate it’s not my job.

“I see Leo really well, all the rest is just speculation. I don’t want to comment, that’s your task not mine.
