All-Star Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is officially a Syracuse legend. Anthony, who led the Orange to the 2003 national championship in his only year on campus, had a large replica of his No. 15 jersey retired to the rafters of the Carrier Dome Saturday during a ceremony at halftime of Syracuse’s game against Georgetown. “This is one of the most memorable moments of my life and career,’’ Anthony said. “This is where it all started 10 years ago. I never imagined getting my jersey retired. I remember when I was in school, seeing Sherman Douglas getting his jersey retired. Now, I’m on the flip side.”
