Ryan Wilson's injury-plagued NHL career has taken another unfortunate turn. The Avalanche defenseman, who missed much of last season because of ankle injuries and most of training camp and the early part of this season because of a knee injury, will now be lost to a back injury. Avalanche coach Patrick Roy said Wilson will be out a minimum of two weeks with the latest injury, which was suffered during Wednesday night's game against Nashville. Roy said Wilson had an MRI on Thursday and will be evaluated again in two weeks. Nick Holden will take Wilson's spot in the Avs' lineup for now. Holden played his first game as a true defenseman against the Flames on Friday night, after playing briefly as a forward for two games.
