The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has signed forward T.J. Tynan to a one-year contract through the 2020-21 campaign.

Tynan, 28, has tallied 47 points (5g/42a) in 42 games for the American Hockey League's Colorado Eagles this season and has appeared in 16 contests for the Avalanche, notching one point (0g/1a). A third-round selection (66th overall) of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2011 NHL Draft, Tynan leads all Eagles skaters in points and is tied for second in the AHL in assists. He was named to the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic.
