The Colorado Avalanche have recalled forward Tyson Jost from the team’s AHL affiliate in San Antonio, the team announced on Sunday night. The 19-year-old Jost has appeared in just six games this season with Colorado, having missed time early in October due to a bone bruise. He has added one goal and one assist in 13 and a half minutes of ice time per night. Colorado made Jost the 10th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The native of St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, played just a single season at the University of North Dakota, scoring 16 goals and dishing out 19 assists in 33 games. Prior to joining the college ranks, he played three years with the Penticton Vees of the BCHL. He had a monster season in 2015-16, racking up 104 points in 48 games.
