With the league’s trade deadline on Tuesday approaching quickly, teams will be looking to fill some needs and the Indianapolis Colts have reportedly received calls about veteran cornerback Vontae Davis. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that the Colts are “receiving inquiries” about Davis from at least two teams. Davis is entering the final year of his contract and while it is unclear if the Colts want to re-sign him, the veteran cornerback does make for a solid trade piece. General manager Chris Ballard has already made three trades since taking over in the offseason so another trade at the deadline isn’t completely out of hand.
