Astros outfielder Alex Presley took batting practice on the field Saturday for the first time since he landed on the disabled list on July 8 with a right oblique strain. “I felt pretty good,” he said. “It’s a different level when you get out on the field, so it took me a couple of rounds to get kind of loose. With the exception of being a little stiff, it went pretty well.” Presley started taking batting practice in the indoor batting cages Thursday in Philadelphia. He hit indoors again Friday at Minute Maid Park before pushing it on the field Saturday. He expects a lighter day Sunday indoors.
