Oakland Athletics left-hander Jesus Luzardo apologized to his teammates Tuesday for fracturing his pinky finger on his pitching hand while playing video games before his start Saturday.

Luzardo, who landed on the injured list Sunday after hitting his hand on a desk, said he felt bad because he put his teammates in a position where they could've had to fill in for him.

"At the end of the day, I'm going to own up to my mistakes. I have to live with that. I'm not going to be upset about it anymore.
