Arturo Vidal has given Manchester United a sign that he is ready to join the club after admitting that he would “love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world”, although he will not make a decision on his future until he returns to Italy to speak to his current club Juventus. Vidal’s agent was reported to be in talks with the Premier League club regarding a £35m move to Old Trafford, with new United manager Louis van Gaal said to be leading the race to sign the Chile international. The 27-year-old is currently on holiday after competing at the World Cup in Brazil for his country, and when quizzed by Chilean newspaper La Tercera over whether he would be joining the Red Devils, he did open the door to a potential transfer. “I've heard about the rumours, but I haven't spoken more about this subject,” Vidal said when asked about the move. “I'm enjoying my holidays, and when I return to Italy I'll see what happens.
