Arsenal will not sell either Mesut Ozil or Alexis Sanchez in January, according to manager Arsene Wenger. The Gunners’ star duo are both entering the final six months of their contracts at the Emirates, and there has been no breakthrough in contract talks with either. As such, the opening of the transfer window represents Arsenal’s final chance to recoup a transfer fee for either. Sanchez is wanted by Manchester City - who saw a £60million deadline day offer rejected in August - while a number of European clubs are monitoring his situation. World Cup winner Ozil has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Barcelona.
