Arsenal are keeping tabs on Lille ace Gabriel Magalhaes after Everton's failure to reach a deal with the Ligue 1 outfit. The Gunners will look for some defensive reinforcements when the season ends amid a turbulent campaign that has seen them concede a staggering 36 goals in 28 Premier League matches.

The Toffees have also been keeping tabs on the centre-back for weeks but have yet to reach an agreement with Lille and that may be down to his €30million (£27m) asking price.
