Arizona senior safety Troy Young entered the transfer portal on Friday morning. As of now, he will have to sit out a year before being eligible to play. This is the second time this week that Arizona has lost a safety to transfer with Xavier Bell being the first.
Young has played all over the secondary for Arizona due in large part to the fact that he couldn’t ever find a solid fit.
Last season, Young only played in four game and struggled with injury and finding a role when healthy.
In the 2018 season, Young played in all 12 games and started against Arizona State as a boundary corner.
