There might not be something for every team’s taste in this year’s quarterback draft class, but it’s reportedly deeper than it’s been in years. The draft is two months away and already the thinking is at least four quarterbacks could be taken in the top 10. And that list might grow because the position seems to increase in value in the weeks before the draft. “We push it up crazy high,” NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said. “Last year I was really surprised at how quickly quarterbacks came off the board, and I probably shouldn't be, given the history of that position.” This year’s class brings a variety of talents to the buffet table. USC’s Sam Darnold has a nice arm, a penchant for creativity but also commits too many turnovers. UCLA’s Josh Rosen is almost flawless fundamentally, but he’s suffered a few injuries and might be too outspoken for some teams’ tastes.
