Dismissed Miami Hurricanes linebacker Jermaine Grace may be trying to get back on UM's roster. Grace, a former Miramar High standout, posted a picture of himself on Instagram where he is wearing his Hurricanes gear and walking into Hard Rock Stadium with the caption, “Canes walk, I would not be missing a lot of these this year, I’ll be back really soon God has a plane for me and it’s to finish my last season as a cane. He has the last say so.” The linebacker has also reportedly hired attorney Jason Setchen, who told the Miami Herald earlier this week he was helping Grace “evaluate all his options” in the wake of Miami’s decision to dismiss him from the football program. Setchen previously represented former Hurricanes basketball player DeQuan Jones, who was suspended by Miami during the school’s investigation into the actions of former booster Nevin Shapiro. Jones was later reinstated to Miami’s basketball team. Multiple phone calls and emails to Setchen were not returned.
