Manchester United’s Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia has signed a new deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2018. Valencia is currently in Brazil with the national team, who increased their chances of staying in the World Cup after the group stages by beating Honduras 2-1 on Friday night. The 28-year old has made 191 appearances for United since signing from Wigan in 2009 and won two Premier League titles. Assistant manager Ryan Giggs told the club’s website: ‘I'm really pleased Antonio has signed a new contract. His contribution to the team since he joined the club in 2009 has been fantastic.
