Antoine Griezmann has told Atletico Madrid and Barcelona that he wants his future resolved before the start of France’s World Cup campaign. Barcelona are reportedly ready to pay the 27-year-old’s €100 million (£88m) release clause this summer and already have a deal in place to sign the forward. Manchester United were also keen on signing Griezmann last summer before Atletico’s transfer ban scuppered the deal. Atletico are keen to offer a new contract in order to keep Griezmann, and the player insists he will make a decision over his future before the start of the World Cup, which begins on June 14. ‘I want to travel to Russia without this concern,’ he told L’Equipe.
