The deal also includes two club options and escalators that could extend the contract to 2021 and bring the total value of the deal up to $73 million, according to the report. Rizzo's new deal gives him an immediate increase for this season (he is currently making $498K), while also covering all four of his arbitration years and his first free-agent year, according to the report.
