This afternoon, junior wide receiver Anthony Ratliff-Williams announced that the 2018 season was the last time we will see him suit up for the University of North Carolina
This announcement comes off the heels of UNC’s decision to part ways with former head coach Larry Fedora and bring in former UNC/Texas coach Mack Brown. The Tar Heels finished Larry Fedora’s final season with a 2-9 record, and finished with just one win in ACC play.
Given the situation with the coaching turnover, it was undoubtedly known that there would be some recruits that would decide to re-open their recruitment, as several have. While recruitment turnover was expected, this decision from Ratliff-Williams wasn’t something that I think anybody could’ve planned for.
