The Angels released utility player Bill Hall, Alden Gonzalez of reports (on Twitter). Hall, a client of Gaylord Sports Management, signed a minor league deal with the Angels in January. Hall appeared in seven games for the Orioles in 2012, when he bounced on and off of Baltimore's 40-man roster. The 33-year-old spent the majority of the season with the Orioles' Triple-A team, and posted a .246/.300/.430 batting line with 15 home runs in 370 plate appearances at Norfolk. The 11-year MLB veteran has spent considerable time at second base, third base and left field in recent years.
