Josh Paul, who spent part of his big league career playing for the Angels under Mike Scioscia, has been hired as the Angels new bench coach. Earlier this month the Angels moved bench coach Dino Ebel to third base coach, replacing Ron Roenicke. Roenicke left to become the Boston Red Sox bench coach. Paul, 42, has most recently worked in the New York Yankees organization in player development. He managed two years at Class-A and has also been the organizational catching instructor, a role in which he helped develop Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez.
