The Angels hit four doubles in the top of the second inning to plate three runs and tacked on three more to win in Washington state. C.J. Cron hit his third home run of the season to tack on insurance late as the offense showed up in front of a fatigued Jered Weaver who couldn't seem to get out of an inning without a walk and a base hit and deep counts. The doublers were David Freese, Cron, Erick Aybar and Chris Iannetta respectively. Sean Burnett got one batter out in the bottom of the seventh inning before motioning to the dugout that he did not feel right. Fernando Salas finished the seventh and Joe Smith got three outs in the eighth after almost being decapitated catching a comebacker to the head.
