The first post-All-Star break pitch has not yet been thrown, and already, the Red Sox have been dealt some bad news. Oft-injured reliever Andrew Bailey is headed to the disabled list with a shoulder injury, multiple sources have confirmed. Bailey ceded the closer job to Koji Uehara last month, but over the past few weeks, with the aid of a different grip on his cutter, he had been pitching better, not allowing a run while striking out seven batters over his last 5-1/3 innings.
