Valencia midfielder Andreas Pereira admits he would rather see out his season-long loan with the club than return to Manchester United in January. The Brazilian joined the La Liga giants on deadline day, against the wishes of Jose Mourinho who wanted him to stay and compete for a place at Old Trafford. Pereira felt game time would have been sparse but injuries to Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba would have seen the the 21-year-old given a fair share of minutes. Scott McTominay has grabbed his opportunity in Pereira’s absence and United’s injuries have led to speculation that the Red Devils could trigger a recall option in the midfielder’s loan deal.
