Juventus have identified Manchester United's Paul Pogba as their key summer midfield target and Paulo Dybala could be used as part of a swap deal.

United's French midfielder has endured a topsy-turvy spell at Old Trafford since rejoining the Premier League club in 2016 from Juventus, where he won four Serie Atitles.

Reports in Italy claim that Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo spent several hours on Thursday discussing several transfer targets and outgoings with the club's directors, with Dybala being named as the key depature this summer.

And according to Tuttosport, the Serie A champions could convince Manchester United to give up their star midfielder by offering striker Dybala as part of the deal.

It would see Pirlo reunited with Pogba, the pair having played together in Juventus' midfield for three seasons between 2012 and 2015.

They won three successive Serie A titles and also helped Juve reach the final of the Champions League in 2015, where they were beaten by Juventus.

Argentine forward Dybala was recently crowned 'Serie A MVP' after leading Juventus to yet another Scudetto title.
