Amed Rosario’s return to the Mets lineup will have to wait. The young shortstop said he still felt tightness in his left knee Tuesday morning. After being forced out of Saturday’s game, Rosario had hoped to return to the field against the Astros on Tuesday. Instead, he’ll have to wait at least another day. And with rain in the forecast for Wednesday, it seemed unlikely that he would play against the Yankees, either. Rosario, who hasn’t had had an MRI exam on the injury, said the discomfort wasn’t as severe as it had been Saturday, when he felt pain in the area. “[Monday] I tried to run and I felt it again, but not on the same level,” Rosario said through an interpreter. He admitted to being frustrated by the setback.
