Allan has revealed 'he did not think twice' when given an opportunity to sign for Everton in the summer.

The midfielder re-joined Carlo Ancelotti in a £20m move from Napoli and recorded 12 Premier League appearances before suffering a hamstring injury in the win over Leicester City on Wednesday.

Ancelotti remains confident Allan will not require surgery but could not set a timeframe for his return, ruling him out of the festive 'period' of matches.

Reflecting on the switch to Everton, the 29-year-old Brazilian admitted he was impressed by the vision of Farhad Moshiri, Marcel Brands and his mentor Ancelotti.
