Roberto Luongo gets the start against the Blackhawks here on Wednesday night. Like the Canucks, he needs a bounce-back game. Luongo has watched Cory Schneider play the last two games, but the No. 1 netminder has gone 0-3-0 and given up 16 goals in last four starts — including one no-decision where he surrendered three goals on seven shots in five minutes before being relieved by Schneider, who took the loss in an eventual 5-3 defeat to Buffalo on March 3. Unquestionably, Luongo has been the Canucks' MVP this season through his excellent play since early December, but his numbers over the last four appearances are nasty: 5.31 goals against average and an .845 save percentage. It's key to get him back to where he was before the calendar turned to March.
