Alexis Sanchez’s agent has reached out to Manchester City to convince them to make a January move for the Chilean, who is desperate to leave Arsenal. The 29-year-old is out of contract in the summer and can begin negotiating with foreign clubs over a free transfer when the window reopens, and he has no desire to remain in north London. Sanchez scored twice for the Gunners against Crystal Palace in midweek, though the lack of celebrations from some of his teammates hinted at tensions. It has even been claimed that he had a bust up with Laurent Koscielny, while some of Sanchez’s teammates are now keen to see him leave in January. And, according to Goal, they may get their wish, with Sanchez’s agent, Fernando Felicevich, making contact with Man City to encourage them to ramp up their efforts to sign the former Barcelona man.
