Linebacker Aldon Smith has been released from a Los Angeles jail after posting $20,000 bail, shortly after being charged with making a false bomb threat earlier Sunday afternoon at LAX. A Los Angeles police spokesman said although it was observed Smith may have been drinking prior to the airport incident, it was not a factor to his arrest on the bomb threat. That could be relevant to the 49ers’ concerns, however, as Smith missed five games last season while undergoing substance-abuse treatment. The 49ers open their offseason training program next Monday, April 21.
