Newcastle boss Pardew is weighing up a summer move for the influential Hammers midfielder. Pardew is a long-term admirer of Noble, 27, who is contracted to West Ham until 2016 and rated at around £8m. And after being told he will still be in charge at St James' Park next season Noble is back on his wish list. Pardew knows all about Noble having worked with the Hammers vice-captain during his time in charge at Upton Park. And he fits the bill with Pardew planning to bring in more British players this summer after focussing on the French market in recent transfer windows. Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is another of Pardews top targets. Newcastle's buy-French policy won't be totally abandoned though. Pardew is keen to revive a deal for Montpellier attacker Remy Cabella.
