Alabama’s national championship victory probably feels particularly sweet for sophomore running back Josh Jacobs. Jacobs revealed to Twitter on Thursday that he was about to undergo surgery for a broken ankle he had been playing on since the fifth week of the season. Jacobs rushed for 284 yards and a touchdown this season, also adding 14 catches for 168 yards and two more touchdowns.
