Alabama defensive line coach Karl Dunbar had a bag containing his playbook stolen two days prior to the Crimson Tide's 26-23 overtime victory over Georgia in the College Football Playoff national title game, Atlanta police confirmed to USA TODAY Sports on Friday. Dunbar had left his backpack in a meeting room in the Marriott Marquis around 12:45 p.m. ET on Jan. 6. When he returned several hours later, the bag was gone. He told police that the bag contained his playbook, two cellphones, his iPad, passport, sunglasses, reading glasses and his wallet — which included $1,320.
