The Cincinnati Bengals proved on Sunday that they can compete without A.J. Green.

However, looking for an extension this season, Andy Dalton proved that they team can’t just compete offensive, but they can thrive. Dalton threw for a career-high 395 passing yards in Week 1.

Although they played well against Seattle, ultimately losing 21-20, the offensive that’s been void of Green for the past five games needs their star receiver back. That said, after an injury in training camp, a good update has been giving on Green’s progression.

Bengals.com writer Geoff Hobson tweeted that Green is doing work on a zero-gravity treadmill and has shed the walking boot.
