With rookie free-agent running back Cierre Wood being placed on waivers today the Texans will be looking for a third running back to play behind Arian Foster and Ben Tate both of whom were injured in Sunday’s 17-16 loss at Kansas City. Foster is out with a hamstring injury. He said he should be able to play in two weeks against Indianapolis. Tate has bruised ribs. He left Sunday’s game but returned. The Texans have another undrafted rookie Ray Graham on the practice squad. He could be promoted to the active roster or the Texans could sign a veteran free agent. Coach Gary Kubiak wouldn’t commit either way today but admitted they’re in the market for a replacement for Wood.
