Before Mavericks forward Shawn Marion would address reporters in the locker room following Dallas' Game 5 victory Thursday over the Heat, he excused himself to brush his hair. But the appearance-conscious Matrix had nothing to worry about - all he's done in the NBA Finals is make himself look good. He'd been strong offensively in earlier games, but Thursday his defense stood out more than his eight points, four rebounds and three assists. He's been guarding Heat stars LeBron James and, particularly late in Game 5, Dwyane Wade, who was playing with a bruised hip. "We try to give different looks, use different guys at different times," Marion said. "We got some big stops and hit some big shots. … It was lights out." Marion made a steal against Wade late, when the Mavs needed stops to protect their lead. In all, Miami committed 16 turnovers.
