Vikings running back Adrian Peterson said Monday that he is “actually feeling pretty good” just a few days after having groin surgery and you can say the same about his thoughts on the team’s decision to hire Norv Turner as their offensive coordinator. Peterson said Turner has “a brilliant mind, obviously” and that he’s particularly excited to see what that mind comes up with in the passing game. “I’ll tell you, our pass offense has really struggled in the past couple years,” Peterson said, via Tom Pelissero of USA Today. “I think [Turner] is going to be the perfect guy to come in and get us on the right path.” The struggles of the Vikings passing offense have existed for most of Peterson’s time with the team.
