Adrian Beltre returned to the Rangers' lineup Monday after having to leave the second game of the doubleheader Sunday night because of a sore left shoulder. Beltre initially injured the shoulder Sept. 12 against Cleveland while diving for a grounder and aggravated it in the ninth inning of Game 1. He left Game 2 after leaping for a Mark Trumbo line drive and extending the arm above his head. A day later, though, the shoulder was feeling better, and he saw no reason to not play in the opener for a key three-game series against Oakland.
