Former Gonzaga Bulldog Adam Morrison understandably went bonkers on Saturday upon witnessing Jalen Suggs bail out his alma matter with a game-winning half-court heave against the UCLA Bruins in the NCAA Tournament Final Four.
The retired NBA player, who now moonlights as a commentator for Gonzaga Radio, had an epic reaction after seeing one of the biggest shots in college basketball history. Suggs’ historic shot helped Gonzaga keep its pristine 31-0 record as they look to make history against the Baylor Bears in the finale.
Broadcast people, of course, are expected to remain neutral when calling games, regardless of their favored teams. But Morrisson, who holds the Zags dear to his heart, couldn’t contain his excitement. Frankly, he didn’t care.
