Fabrizio Romano via Sempre Milan is reporting that AC Milan submitted a bid worth 14-15 million euros about a week ago to Tottenham Hotspur for right back Serge Aurier but this was turned down. The Ivory Coast international has been a top priority for Paolo Maldini this summer window to reinforce the right back spot after an average campaign for both Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria. The defender was underused when Mauricio Pochettino was in charge but did well under Jose Mourinho in the past season. Tottenham have signed Matt Doherty from Wolverhampton recently hence the opportunities could be scarce for Aurier in London.
