The Green Bay Packers are looking for a new general manager and Russ Ball is a strong candidate to win the position. And that does not sit well with Aaron Rodgers. Packers reporter Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin was on ESPN Radio on Friday and he said Rodgers does not Ball to become the Packers new general manager. Wilde did not give a reason as to why Rodgers is not on board with Ball being the new GM. Ball is currently the Packers vice president of player administration and player finance. He's been former GM Ted Thompson's right-hand man since 2008 as he helped Thompson negotiate player contracts and work the salary cap. Ball does not have a big scouting background, but he has done a number of different things for the Packers over the years and he's highly regarded around the league.
