Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been declared out for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, coach Mike McCarthy said Friday afternoon. "It's been a difficult morning going through conversation with Aaron and Dr. McKenzie," said McCarthy. "He feels like he's ready to play." More from McCarthy: *Rodgers is very disappointed. He's frustrated. But speaking with Dr. McKenzie, this was right decision. I'm not going to get into scans, he was not scanned this morning. The hurdle Rodgers wanted to get over, he felt he was ready to play. All the facts and evaluation have gone into it. *I'm OK with decision to sit Rodgers. Aaron wants to play, based on what he has accomplished physically, he's ready to go. Not the easiest thing to sit there and tell the franchise QB can't play in the game.
