Zach Parise's plan was to play all five of the Devils' remaining games this season after coming back from right knee surgery. But after playing his first game in more than five months, Parise's right knee is sore enough that Devils' management does not want to risk a setback. General manager Lou Lamoriello and coach Jacques Lemaire have decided that Praise will sit out Tuesday night's game against the Penguins and probably one of the team's back-to-back games next weekend. "I don't think he'll be playing two games in two nights," Lemaire said. "I don't think it would be good. He says it feels good, but we'll wait." Parise, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on Nov. 2 to repair a torn meniscus, said his knee is sore. He said he was told Tuesday morning he wouldn't be playing against the Pens. "Of course I want to play," Parise said. "We have to be intelligent. It was more just me listening.
