The Portland Trail Blazers win round one against the Sacramento Kings 104-91 Friday night at the Moda Center. Round two will be in Sacramento tomorrow night. Tonight all Trail Blazers starters scored in double-figures led by Damian Lillard who had 22points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Wesley Matthews supplied 18 points and seven rebounds. By the way, Matthews is continuing his rebound assault. In the fourth quarter LaMarcus Aldridge closed any hopes of the Kings making a comeback by nailing a couple of crucial turnaorund jumpers that put Portland up 10 with 3:03 left in the game. He finished the game with 20 points and seven rebounds. Nicolas Batum flirted with a triple-double -- 14 points, six rebounds, eight assists. Robin Lopez added 11 points, four rebounds and a block.
