Mitchell Robinson's strange saga at Western Kentucky is apparently taking another turn. The 7-foot Robinson, the top-rated center in the class of 2017, has reportedly decided to return to WKU, according to a report by WBKO TV in Bowling Green. He would be eligible to play this season. Earlier this month, WKU released the 5-star recruit from his scholarship and announced he would transfer. That move came just a couple of days after he was suspended for a violation of team rules. According to WBKO, Robinson made recruiting trips to Louisiana State, Kansas and New Orleans this month. He would have required an NCAA waiver to play at another school in 2017-18 because he attended summer classes at WKU.
