Five-star offensive tackle Kelvin Banks is heading to Oregon, he announced on social media Sunday.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound recruit ranks No. 14 overall in the Class of 2022 and is the No. 2 offensive tackle, according to the 247Sports Composite Rating. He is the highest-ranked member of his class expected to reveal his announcement on Sunday.
Banks, from Humble, Texas, also had offers from LSU, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M. He's the fifth player from Texas to head to Eugene in the 2022 class, along with receiver Nicholas Anderson, safety Landon Hullaby, offensive lineman Cameron Williams and receiver Stephon Johnson.
