Travis Waller, the nation's 6th ranked quarterback who hails from Servite High in Anaheim, CA gave his verbal commitment to the Ducks today. Waller is a 6' 4", 190lb. signal-caller with mobility, what's been described as a live arm, the ability to throw it down field, and keep plays alive with his legs. Waller gave Oregon his verbal commitment over offers from Notre Dame, Alabama, Arizona, Maryland, Penn State, Tennessee, Washington, BYU, Mississippi, California, Utah, Colorado, and Vanderbilt. The last of those of course means, he's solid in the classroom. Good news for the Ducks who are always pushing to ensure everyone in their class doesn't just add to the recruiting rankings but the real rankings at the end of the season.
