The Minnesota Vikings lost in embarrassing fashion in Week 13 to the winless Detroit Lions. The Vikings fall to an unfortunate 5-7 on the season after the loss.

It looks like it’s going to be another disappointing season in Minnesota as they haven’t found much success in the past few seasons. There is way too much talent on this team for them to be 5-7 and losing to arguably the worst team that the NFL has seen in almost the past decade.

Minnesota continuously lets teams back into ball games and never can just simply dominate a game. Mostly all of their games have come down to only a touchdown or less. It seems that they can never play four quarters worth of dominant football and that was the case on Sunday when they lost to the Detroit Lions. They were losing 20-6 at halftime and unfortunately for them, they couldn’t get a stop with four seconds remaining in the game.

Their chances of making the playoffs are slim to none after this loss unless they can somehow win the remaining five games of the season.

Let’s take a look at some takeaways from the Vikings-Lions game in Week 13.
