DeAndre Jordan knows the Brooklyn Nets are coming off an injury-riddled season marked by untimely disruptions that derailed their title hopes. Kyrie Irving and James Harden suffered injuries against the Milwaukee Bucks, which led to them getting eliminated. The Nets offseason priority thus far has been acquiring more role players while the big three gets healthy.

One move the Nets have been discussing is trading away center DeAndre Jordan. Jordan is past his prime and simply doesn’t fit with the Nets offensive scheme. Last season, Jordan averaged 7.5 points per game along with 7.5 rebounds. He was very efficient from the field, shooting 76.3 percent. While the 1-time All-Star doesn’t fit with the Nets, he could be a solid addition to another team.

Here are the 3 best DeAndre Jordan trades for the Nets, ranked.

3. Rockets trade Danuel House to Nets for DeAndre Jordan

The Nets aren’t going to get a ton in return for Jordan other than role players. Although the Rockets like to run a small-ball lineup, they need to have a traditional center on the roster. Jordan could fill that role and come off the bench for the Rockets.

Danuel House Jr. on the other hand, could come in and be a solid backup wing for the Nets. He is a solid defender with an above-average three-point shooter. House Jr. would provide more wing depth to the Nets and defensive versatility.

The Nets offense is loaded, and bringing in a guy like House Jr. would provide more spacing and defense for the team.
